( Our song )

THROUGH THE YEARS…

I can’t remember when you weren’t there
When i didn’t care
For anyone but you
I swear we’ve been through everything there is
Can’t imagine anything we’ve missed
Can’t imagine anything the TWO OF US can’t do

Through the years
You never let me down
You turned my life around
The sweetest days i’ve found
I’ve found with you
Through the years i’ve never been afraid
I’ve LOVED THE LIFE WE’VE MADE
And i’m so glad i’ve stayed
Right here with you
THROUGH THE YEARS

I can’t remember what i used to do
Who i trusted whom i listened to before
I swear you’ve thought me EVERYTHING I KN0W
Can’t imagine needing someone so
But through the years it seems to me
I need you more and more

Through the years through all the good and bad
I know how much we had
I’ve always been so glad to be with you
Through the years its better everyday
You kissed my tears away
As long as its okay, i’ll stay with you through the years

Through the years WHEN EVERYTHING WENT WR0NG
Together we were strong
I know that i belonged
Right here with you
THROUGH THE YEARS

Through the year i never had a doubt,we’d always work things out
I’ve learned what loves about
By loving you….
THROUGH THE YEARS

” I LOVE YOU SO MUCH HONEY “

  1. I read your poem. It says a lot about true love. I think a relationship must go through the test of time; through the good times, and the bad -which sounds like a cliche’, but is so true.

Is this your poem. With your permission I would like to publish it on my blog. Also have you been to the Writers Cafe site (my referral link: http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/GailAlexander/261415/). It is an excellent site for writers to publish their work and get feedback from other writers. The site also links to Facebook.

    Your new friend,
    Gail Alexander

  2. @Gail- Hi there! Hmm… Its not a poem my friend. Its a song. Our favorite song. Maybe you should visit my other blog, http://www.jeanjoyce.com. There were lots of poems and stories there. Thanks for your visit.
